Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Cursive Script by Tie Bao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,671.53). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tie Bao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Regular Script, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 58,975.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script von Tie Bao kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.671,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tie Bao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 58.975,10) versteigert wurde.
