Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tang Di achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Pine Tree and Rock sold for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,910.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Di achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 315,202.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Di erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Pine Tree and Rock für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.910,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Di erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Character im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 315.202,00).
