Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2009 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Light by Song Yonghong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 23,659.46). Admittedly, works by Song Yonghong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2009 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light von Song Yonghong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 23.659,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Yonghong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
