Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy (Painted Approximately In 1980-1981) by Shiy De-Jinn was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 15,160.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy (Painted Approximately In 1980-1981) von Shiy De-Jinn wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 15.160,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
