The work Various Subjects by Shi Lu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 27,390.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Lu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotus in Splashed Ink in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,059,768.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Various Subjects von Shi Lu wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 27.390,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Lu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotus in Splashed Ink im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.059.768,64).
