In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included this untitled work by Sandú Darié. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,287.50 (€ 8,123.41), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandú Darié zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 8.123,41) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
