Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work "Sea Life Fountain" by Saint Clair Cemin for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,669.46). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Saint Clair Cemin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Large Table) in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 95,600.00 (€ 72,101.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Sea Life Fountain" von Saint Clair Cemin für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.669,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Saint Clair Cemin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Large Table) im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 95.600,00 (€ 72.101,97).
