This artwork by Renato Guttuso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 12,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Renato Guttuso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aranceto Notturno in March last year with an auction result of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 201,672.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Renato Guttuso erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Renato Guttuso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aranceto Notturno im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 201.672,69).
