Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Marina by Renato Guttuso. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 20,160.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Renato Guttuso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aranceto Notturno in March last year with an auction result of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 201,672.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marina von Renato Guttuso zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 20.160,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Renato Guttuso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aranceto Notturno im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 201.672,69).
