Sold at the lower estimate price
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Il bosco d'amore by Renato Guttuso. The result of EUR 80,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Renato Guttuso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aranceto Notturno, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 170,100.00 (€ 201,672.69).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il bosco d'amore von Renato Guttuso zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 80.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Renato Guttuso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aranceto Notturno beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 170.100,00 (€ 201.672,69) versteigert wurde.
