Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Divinity Generals by Ren Zhe. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 71,143.20). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ren Zhe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Infinite Sprit of Allegiance, which sold at auction in October 2021 for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 280,315.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Divinity Generals von Ren Zhe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 71.143,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Infinite Sprit of Allegiance beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 280.315,10) versteigert wurde.
