In December 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Tran (in the Park) by Raffi Kalenderian. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,440.15), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffi Kalenderian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dasha (Plants), which sold at auction in September last year for USD 27,720.00 (€ 28,334.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tran (in the Park) von Raffi Kalenderian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.440,15) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffi Kalenderian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dasha (Plants) beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 27.720,00 (€ 28.334,87) versteigert wurde.
