Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Prunella Clough achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September 2021. In the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction, the work Fisherman sold for GBP 65,250.00 (€ 75,919.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Prunella Clough; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Fishermen with Sprat Nets II sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Prunella Clough erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women wurde die Arbeit Fisherman für GBP 65.250,00 (€ 75.919,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Prunella Clough; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Fishermen with Sprat Nets II im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18).
