Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints, which included the work Couple Dans Un Intérieur by Pierre Roy. The price achieved of EUR 124.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100.00 – 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Roy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Barque Chinoise in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 84,804.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couple Dans Un Intérieur von Pierre Roy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 124,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Roy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Barque Chinoise im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.804,00.
