Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Cassini's Division #3 by Peter Bradley for USD 146,050.00 (€ 137,991.31). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Bradley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Milkwood, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 327,600.00 (€ 305,283.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cassini's Division #3 von Peter Bradley für USD 146.050,00 (€ 137.991,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Bradley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Milkwood beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 327.600,00 (€ 305.283,76) versteigert wurde.
