Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Avión angelical by Pedro Friedeberg for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,213.37). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pedro Friedeberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vision y presagio del profeta Habakkuk in May last year with an auction result of USD 69,300.00 (€ 64,579.26).

Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Avión angelical von Pedro Friedeberg für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.213,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pedro Friedeberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vision y presagio del profeta Habakkuk im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 64.579,26).
