The work Crossing River on Reed by Pan Tianshou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 44,625.00 (€ 5,054.71), 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Tianshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo Valley in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,040,000.00 (€ 2,085,090.26).

Die Arbeit Crossing River on Reed von Pan Tianshou wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 5.054,71) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Tianshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo Valley im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.040.000,00 (€ 2.085.090,26).
