Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Deuxième affiche Vallauris (sans la lettre) (Bloch 527; Mourlot 119a/119bis) by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,557.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Deuxième affiche Vallauris (sans la lettre) (Bloch 527; Mourlot 119a/119bis) von Pablo Picasso kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.557,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
