Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In Da Club - Shy Guy by Nigel Cooke was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,067.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nigel Cooke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stumpy'S Night in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 262,000.00 (€ 238,311.81).
