Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Apunte de Tractor by Miquel Barceló was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,486.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miquel Barceló achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faena De Muleta in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 3,961,250.00 (€ 4,382,386.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Apunte de Tractor von Miquel Barceló kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.486,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miquel Barceló erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faena De Muleta im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.961.250,00 (€ 4.382.386,82).
