Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work I'm Grandmother's With You by Michael Williams for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,141.76). This price was achieved in the auction First Open at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scott Whatever 2 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 88,761.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I'm Grandmother's With You von Michael Williams für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.141,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scott Whatever 2 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 88.761,60).
