This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Manning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Lies in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,921.39).
