Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Everything you Want (Sheryl Crow Pandora Painting) by Michael Manning. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,993.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Manning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Lies in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,921.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Everything you Want (Sheryl Crow Pandora Painting) von Michael Manning zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.993,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Manning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Lies im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.921,39).
