Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude Study by Mark Gertler was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,819.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Gertler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Violinist in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 542,500.00 (€ 764,918.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude Study von Mark Gertler kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.819,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Gertler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Violinist im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 542.500,00 (€ 764.918,19).
