Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View from the edge of a forest lake by Marinus Nielsen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 200.98). Admittedly, works by Marinus Nielsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A farm interior presumably from Laesoe in August this year with an auction result of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View from the edge of a forest lake von Marinus Nielsen im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 200,98) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marinus Nielsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A farm interior presumably from Laesoe im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,87).
