Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,529.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maria Marevna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,951.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers von Maria Marevna wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.529,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Marevna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.951,89).
