Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Shingle Painting 1 by Marianne Vitale. The price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,444.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marianne Vitale - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shingle Painting 8, which sold at auction in June 2016 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,753.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shingle Painting 1 von Marianne Vitale zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.444,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marianne Vitale mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shingle Painting 8 beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.753,47) versteigert wurde.
