Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Malgache Aux Piments by Maria Marevna was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 30,267.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maria Marevna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining Nude, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,951.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Malgache Aux Piments von Maria Marevna wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 30.267,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maria Marevna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining Nude beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.951,89) versteigert wurde.
