Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Clown Aleix Du Cirque Medrano by Maria Marevna was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,463.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Maria Marevna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,951.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Clown Aleix Du Cirque Medrano von Maria Marevna kam im November 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.463,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Marevna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.951,89).
