Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Desgrandchamps achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2000 von Marc Desgrandchamps wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Desgrandchamps erzielen.
