Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Liam Gillick could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Composed Discussion Screen changed hands for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,925.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liam Gillick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Resolution Platform, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 49,600.00.
