Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,290.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Joseph Bertiers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wedding, 2019 in May 2021 with an auction result of MAD 429,000.00 (€ 37,643.92).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.290,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
