Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Johannes Kahrs was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2013. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 59,716.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Kahrs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work O.T. (Schmerz) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,000.00 (€ 258,491.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Johannes Kahrs kam im November 2013 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 59.716,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Kahrs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit O.T. (Schmerz) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.000,00 (€ 258.491,84).
