Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 6 works, from the Cardinations portfolio by Jo Baer was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,544.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jo Baer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 307,490.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 6 works, from the Cardinations portfolio von Jo Baer kam im Februar 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.544,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jo Baer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 307.490,14).
