In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A still life with fruits, sunflowers and a ginger jar by Jan van Heel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,912.00 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan van Heel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Clown in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 16,730.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with fruits, sunflowers and a ginger jar von Jan van Heel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.912,00 und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan van Heel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Clown im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.730,00.
