It achieved a price of EUR 26,240.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Brown - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 64,480.00.

Die Arbeit The visible planets III - 2007 von James Brown wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 26.240,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46 %. Für andere Arbeiten von James Brown mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für EUR 64.480,00 versteigert wurde.
