Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre - 1999 by James Brown was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by James Brown have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 64,480.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1999 von James Brown kam im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Brown auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 64.480,00.
