In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures, which included the work The Round Table; And Flirtation by Jakob Emanuel Gaisser. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,094.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jakob Emanuel Gaisser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Light entertainment, which sold at auction in April 2002 for EUR 8,365.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Round Table; And Flirtation von Jakob Emanuel Gaisser zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.094,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jakob Emanuel Gaisser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Light entertainment beobachtet, die im April 2002 für EUR 8.365,00 versteigert wurde.
