The work Landscape by Hu Peiheng was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 50,400.00 (€ 4,887.60), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Peiheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Hu Peiheng wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 4.887,60) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Peiheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) versteigert wurde.
