Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boats in calm seas, Skagen by Holger Drachmann was sold in the Art on paper auction at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. It changed hands for a price of DKK 2,800.00 (€ 375.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Holger Drachmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) in September this year with an auction result of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,384.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boats in calm seas, Skagen von Holger Drachmann wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art on paper bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von DKK 2.800,00 (€ 375,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Holger Drachmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.384,92).
