In December 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work George Washington At Valley Forge by Henry Merwin Shrady. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Merwin Shrady - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work George Washington At Valley Forge, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 200,000.00 (€ 189,071.66).
