In the Made in Britain auction, the work Small Birds: A Ten Day Circular Walk From Furkapass, Switzerland, Summer, 1986 sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,913.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hamish Fulton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,601.15).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamish Fulton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.601,15).
