Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Looking For Plum Blossoms In The Snow by Gu Luo. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 3,748.97). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Luo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character And Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 47,280.30).
