Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Masque by Gonçalo Mabunda was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,362.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gonçalo Mabunda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Totem in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Masque von Gonçalo Mabunda kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.362,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gonçalo Mabunda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Totem im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
