Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Galline by Giuseppe Cesetti. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,850.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Cesetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fantini sui tetti di Roma in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 28,520.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Galline von Giuseppe Cesetti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.850,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cesetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fantini sui tetti di Roma im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.520,00.
