Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,340.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Cesetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fantini sui tetti di Roma in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 28,520.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cavalli al pascolo von Giuseppe Cesetti wurde im Dezember 2002 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.340,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cesetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fantini sui tetti di Roma im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.520,00.
