Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing at Atrani on the Amalfi coast by Giovanni Lanza was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,114.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Lanza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Parthenon, Athens, With Men In The Foreground Dressed In Oriental Costumes; And The Temple Of Olympian Zeus With The Acropolis In The Background, Athens, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,857.40).

Die Arbeit Fishing at Atrani on the Amalfi coast von Giovanni Lanza kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
