Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Imperial Concube Yang Bathing by Fei Danxu was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,777.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fei Danxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tour of Tao Guang Temple in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 10,445,000.00 (€ 1,211,426.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Imperial Concube Yang Bathing von Fei Danxu wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.777,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fei Danxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tour of Tao Guang Temple im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.445.000,00 (€ 1.211.426,63).
