Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Androgyne/ Androgyn sans cadre by Ernst Neizvestny was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 573.75 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Neizvestny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heads in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 59,511.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Androgyne/ Androgyn sans cadre von Ernst Neizvestny kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 573,75 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Neizvestny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heads im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 59.511,00).
