Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Casita verde y blanca by Emilio Sánchez was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,113.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Emilio Sánchez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2021 the work Sin título was auctioned for USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,861.09).
